Ehizua is a social enterprise providing equal access to affordable and quality education as well as fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by bridging Financial and Digital Divides to ensure equal access to information and knowledge. We provide equal access through the establishment of Education and Creative Technology Hub, Education Financing, and creating access to jobs in Australia, Asia, and Africa. We facilitate Universities admissions and Scholarship, online program delivery, and empower participants through our Skills-based training, Job Assist program, Corporate accelerator program and Corporate venture capital (CVC).

We partner with the world’s leading institutions to help bridge the gap in online program delivery in Nigeria.

We provide offline support services for online learning; training aid support, tutoring services, facilitate face to face hands-on projects support, create access to tailored internship, workplace learning for selected courses and creative space for ideation, pre-incubation to incubation.

Dr. Obiageli “Oby” Katryn Ezekwesili

Advisory Board Chair

Dr Oby has been in the fore front of championing access to global standard education to all children, especially the poor and vulnerable. She has continually advocated for women, youth and technology as the driven force to advance Africa.

As the Advisory Board Chair she provides inspiration leadership to the board and CEO to advance Ehizua Hub mission.

We thank Dr Oby for her continued commitment in education and economic prosperity of Africa.

Dr Obiageli “Oby” Katryn Ezekwesili an Economic Policy Expert is Senior Economic Adviser of the Africa Economic Development Policy Initiative and one of co-founders and pioneer directors of Transparency International-TI, the Berlin-based global anti-corruption organization.

Ezekwesili is currently also the Founder-CEO of Human Capital África working in the education sector across Africa.

Ezekwesili is the Founder-Chairperson of the Board of SPPG- School of Politics Policy and Governance in Abuja, Nigeria. She was a candidate for office of the President of Nigeria in the 2019 election and became the Founder-Chairperson of #FixPolitics Initiative a research-based citizens-led initiative. #FixPolitics envisions “A country where politics is inclusive, the needs of citizens are prioritized,
democratic principles are respected, such that good governance is the norm”.

Ezekwesili was a Vice President of World Bank- Africa Region in Washington DC between 2007 and 2012. She served in the Government of Nigeria between 2000 and 2007. She was the Minister of Minerals and later of Education. She was a presidential aide and headed the Budget Monitoring and Price Intelligence Unit which later became the Bureau for Public Procurement- BPP. She was concurrently the pioneer Chairperson of the Nigerian Extractive Industry and Transparency Initiative- NEITI in which capacity she successfully designed and implemented the global principles for Nigeria.

Ezekwesili also worked as the Director of the Harvard-Nigeria Economic Strategy Project at the Center for International Development at the Kennedy School of Government, Massachusetts.
A Chartered Accountant and Consultant; She holds an MA in International Law and Diplomacy, an MA in Public Policy and Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. She’s an honorary Doctor of Science degree, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Nigeria and in 2016 the University of Essex Business School awarded her an honorary Doctorate Degree in Business in recognition of her role in promoting economic and social justice in African countries.


Ezekwesili was recognized as one of Time-100 Most Influential People and by New York Times as one of the 25 Women of Impact, 2015. Albert Einstein Foundations named her one of 100 visionaries featured in the 3D book “Genius:100 Visions of the Future.” Ezekwesili was a Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow at the Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin Germany between 2019 and 2020.
She has received numerous awards and on boards of numerous local and international organizations
such as; Board of Trustees, the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD); Honorary Member, Committee of the Crans Montana African Women’s Forum; Board of Director of the Economic Policy Think Tank, AfriHeritage; Ambassador, International IDEA; Member of the Global Advisory Board for Facebook’s Community Leadership Program; Global Board of Governors, NCMG International; Member of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR)’s Advisory Group on Gender, Forced Displacement and Protection; Member of the Advisory Board of the Atlantic Dialogues; Independent Director, Board of Bharti Airtel India; Member of Board, Tufts University-Global Leadership Center Boston; International Advisory Board, Tel Aviv University Hartog School of Public Policy, Tel Aviv, Israel; Central European University-School of Public Policy, Budapest Hungary; Global Board, WWF- Switzerland; Commissioner, Global Ocean Commission – United Kingdom; IC Publications; Democracy Ambassador – International IDEA and several others.

The PRIO- Peace Research Institute Oslo listed her as one of potential candidates for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.

She was decorated with the national award of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) by her country.

Dr Ezekwesili is a globally renown Speaker and contributor to numerous studies and publications on Economic Policy, Transparency, Accountability and Governance, Human Capital Development and
Africa Economic prospects.

Yemi Faseun

Advisory Board Member – Industry Engagement and Employment Outcomes

Yemi Faseun is business leader with 30 years multi-sector, multi-function experience. He currently works with clients in his role as Chief Talent Officer to drive people and talent transformation agenda.

Yemi is providing advisory services to the CEO and Executive Director on Industry Engagement and Growth.

His appointment to the advisory board of Ehizua Hub will help Ehizua Hub in achieving its objective of creating equal access to employment and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship

Given that what brought individuals and organisations to where we are today will not take us farther, Yemi works with business leaders to focus on end-to-end people management, culture and leadership initiatives to meet the demands of the Now of Work.

In his last role at Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC), Yemi had the responsibilities of designing strategies and executing same for the Corporate Services enabling functions.

Yemi was a two-term Elected Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), recognised as PeopleHum Top 200 2021 Global Thought Leader, PeopleHum Top 10 2021 Global Leadership Development Thought Leaders

Amb. Bello Kazaure Husseini

Advisory Board Member – Government Relations and Enhancing Transnational Education in Nigeria.

Amb. Husseini will enhance Nigeria Australia bilateral relationship through access to educational opportunities in Nigeria.

As Nigeria High Commissioner to Australia, Amb. Husseini championed access to Australia education for Nigerians and several government initiative including facilitating Australia Scholarships Programs by Abia State scholarships Board.

Amb. Husseini will provide leadership and advise to the CEO of Ehizua Hub in engaging with Government at state, federal and foreign levels to drive Creative Technology Programs in Schools in Nigeria.

Amb. Bello Kazaure Husseini is a seasoned professional, with over 20 years of experience working in the Nigeria Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:

Some of Amb. Husseini special includes but not limited to the following:

a) INTERNATIONAL TRADE MISSION to four (4) selected countries namely; Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana and South Africa;

b) CONFLICT RESOLUTION: he was one of the team of officers that investigated the remote and primary causes of the communal crisis in Benue, Nassarawa and Plateau States and appropriate recommendations were offered to the Government of the day;

c) ESTABLISHMENT OF AFRICAN DIPLOMATIC GROUP IN KUWAIT: he single handedly established diplomatic group of officers below the rank of Ambassador, which involved all African Missions in Kuwait; and

d) NIGERIA-JAPAN TRADE EXCHANGE FORUM: he successfully arranged Trade Exchange Forum that brought together business and government establishments of Nigeria and Japan, where business deals were signed.

e) SENIOR OFFICIAL TALKS: he arranged senior official talk between Nigeria and Australia that brought government officials of the two countries.

f) NIGERIA-AUSTRALIA MINING ROAD SHOW: As a Head of Mission, he organised Mining Road summit in Melbourne and Perth cities which connected mining experts and business tycoons from Nigeria and Australia.

g) NIGERIA-AUSTRALIA BUSINESS FORUM: his Mission also organised Business Forum in Melbourne that brought government officials, business leaders and many stakeholders in one room and discussed Nigerian and Australian business opportunities.

Nicholas Atalor

Nicholas has extensive experience as a senior management executive within Financial services sector in Nigeria and South Africa. His experience in Treasury Management, Risk Management and Compliance in the banking sector has made him very resourceful executive for advisory services.
Nicholas provide strategic leadership advisory services to the CEO of Ehizua Hub in venture investment, risk management and compliance. Nicholas will help Ehizua Hub in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and optimising growth channels to drive revenues growth .
Nicholas gained most of his professional experience with Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc (Subsidiary of Standard Bank South Africa) as Head, Exchange Control and Compliance, Head, Global Market Operations, Manager, Fixed Income and Money Market Desk- Global Market Operations, Team Leader, Fixed Income and Money Market Desk – Global Market Operations, Team Leader, and Foreign Exchange Desk – Global Market Operations.
Nicholas hold an MBA from Manchester Business School and B.Sc. Chemistry from University of Lagos.

Matthias Ehizua

Founder/CEO

Matthias shared in the believe that access to affordable quality education and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship are best way to achieve inclusive and equal education with enhanced graduate outcomes in Africa and Asia. This believes drives the founding values of Ehizua.

Matthias oversees the strategic direction of Ehizua and provides holistic and collaborative approach to education financing, education marketing and as well as fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Matthias have over 12 years combined experience in financial and educational services in Australia, Asia, and Africa, mainly, in Education financing, Education Marketing, Career Development, and Business Development. Matthias gained most of his professional experience from working with Australian for UNHCR and Christian Super. Matthias has firsthand experience in starting and running an education agency and have demonstrated experience in providing training, business development and marketing for Universities and Colleges in Australia, Canada, Vietnam, Nigeria, Botswana and Mauritius. Matthias coordinate in-country marketing activities in Australia, Philippines, South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana.

Matthias work with Allianz, Medibank and BUPA as a vendor in providing access to affordable oversea student health insurance.

Matthias graduated with a Master of Taxation in Taxation and Financial Planning Specialization from The University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from Charles Darwin University. Matthias completed a course in Disruptive Strategy with Harvard Business School and is well versed in innovation theories and practices.

Martha Hendra

Education Partnership Director

Martha Hendra brings 30 years of teaching, quality assurance and managing program delivery within the international student education sector to Ehizua.

Her passion and commitment to English language education is coupled with being multi-lingual and recently learning Igbo and Yoruba languages.

Martha gained most of professional experience from working with Institute of Languages [UNSW], USQ Sydney Education Centre, JANCO Educational Services, and Bridge Business College.

In her role as an Academic Manager, Martha has had extensive experience in curriculum design and course development within the areas of Business English, English for Specific Purposes and English for Academic Purposes. In addition, she has a wide knowledge of quality assurance procedures and compliance within the tertiary education sector.

Martha supports our mission to facilitate access to quality education globally and manages our education partnership and the challenges associated with online course delivery quality assurance and course design that improve graduate outcomes with access to jobs on graduation. Ensuring QA and Designing courses that meet modern workplace requirements for graduates in terms of technology, oral presentation and writing a report becomes a major success factor for enhanced graduate outcomes. A balance of having well developed language skills, technical know-how and training is also fundamental to future success in any field of employment.

Obafemi Okubanjo

Chief Operating Officer

Obafemi is an experienced marketing, and business development professional with a combined 14 years working experience within financial services and international education marketing with skills in strategy development, brand development & management, and integrated marketing solutions.

Obafemi will contribute to Ehizua Hub overall business strategies where he will be overseeing business and partnership development, marketing and students recruitment operations

Obafemi gained must of his professional experience from working with Nobel International Business School as Country Manager – Nigeria, UNICAF, Growth Academy Limited, Zeephire Limited and PG Consulting as the Business Development and Marketing Heads where he was involved in institutional and retail sales of International education (online and blended learning), executive education and soft skills trainings in the last eight years. He has also had stints with Crusader Sterling Pensions, Standard Chartered Bank and Zenith Bank Plc as a marketing professional. He was also involved in the marketing of 2010 FIFA World cup project in Nigeria as well as 2010/2011 English Premier League and Champions League and also the Nigerian Idol project while working with Optimal Media Group.

Obafemi is a graduate of Business Administration and Management and his passionate about education and outcomes for graduate, this has influenced his commitment to Ehizua Hub in driving access to quality education and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Thohir Omoloye

Chief Technology Officer

Tohir is a seasoned Lead software engineer and enterprise solutions architect. An expert in business process automation and cloud architecture.

As Chief Technology Officer with Ehizua Hub Tohir is leading solutions in bridging the digital divides in online program delivery and graduate outcomes, providing technical leadership and insight to entrepreneurship and innovation, enhancing our offerings and start Up’s venture.

Tohir has over 10 years of experience developing and supporting automated systems for startups across various sectors in the US, Australia, Ireland and Nigeria.

Tohir graduated from Griffith College Dublin where he badged BSc (Honours) in Computing Science with First Class in 2019. An alumni of Harvard Business School Online where he participated in Entrepreneurship Essentials April 2020 cohort.

Akorede Oluwabusola

Job Services Manager

Busola is a certified Human Resources Professional with 5 years HR Generalist and Business Partnering experience across the Banking, NGOs, IT, and Education sectors. Her areas of expertise includes Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Strategic planning, Employee relations and General HR Operations.

Busola extensive experience in hiring, talent management and employer engagement will contribute to Ehizua Hub Job assist services for facilitating internship and employment for Ehizua Hub partnered University students and graduates.

As a value-driven HR professional, Busola has a passion for business development and high-performance work systems that elicit business profitability.

Busola gained most of her professional experience from working with Vigilant Heart Charitable Society and Lead-Forte Gate Schools.

Adenekan Adewole

Hub Manager

Adenekan brings 15 years of ICT teaching and facility management experience to Ehizua Hub. Adenekan will contribute to Ehizua Hub operations and facility management, maintaining our solar powered computer labs, virtual learning studio, multimedia production studio and providing a seamless hub experience for students and instructors.

He train students in the use of Python, CSS and HTML, VEX IQ Robotics Programming, Coreldraw, Photoshop, 2D Animations, WordPress, System Engineering, and Networking.

Adenekan has a B.Sc(Edu.) in Computer science and is a Microsoft Office Specialist, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). He has been trained by Cambridge Assessment as a preparatory trainer for
Cambridge IGCSE Information and Communication Technology (0417), Cambridge O Level Computer Science and Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (048),. He has also gone through various online certification such as Certification on Transforming Leadership (Udemy), Data Science toolbox (Coursera) and many more.

Adenekan gained most of his professional experience from working with A&T Schools, Newhall International School Lekki, Lead- Forte Gate College, Lekki as Head of ICT and ICT Instructor.

Victory Ikhile

Enterprise Solutions Manager

Victory is an experienced project development and social enterprise engineering professional in Nigeria, and contribute in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among students and participants of Ehizua Hub while engineering Ehizua Hub Corporate Accelerator Program and Corporate Venture Capital (CVC).

Victory gained most of his professional experience from working as project coordinator with OAA Study for deployment of OAA Study CRM and Online Courses in Australia and with Seamfix Nig ltd for the rollout of biometric system project in Rivers State and supervised the transition of Nigerian Police employees paper records to electronic records.

Victory holds a BSc in Accounting.

Toyin Bamidele

Executive Director of Growth & Digital Innovation.

Toyin is an experienced professional in the Nigeria start up ecosystem.

As the Executive Director of Growth & Digital Innovation, Toyin will facilitate the growth of Ehizua Hub activities in Nigeria through the implementation of Ehizua Hub growth strategies in our Upskill and startup division.

Supporting our vision of bridging financial and digital divides and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Toyin worked at Ventures Platform as the Project Coordinator for the Nigeria StartUp Bill worked with Key Industry stakeholders, the office of the President & Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to drive the stakeholder engagement component of the Bill development process. He is a graduate of Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University and has spent 5 years exploring the talent supply segment of Africa’s innovation ecosystem, serving as the growth and engagement lead for high-growth edtech startups; Utiva, Slatecube and Studentbuild. He is also an author of “The Venture Matrix for the future of Africa [Gameplan]”, which introduces an alternative logic for inclusive and sustainable development through increased participation and inclusion of the undergraduate community in digital entrepreneurship. He is also a fellow of the Nigerian Global Affairs Commission (NiGAC) and convener of the Venture Matrix for the future of Africa Project, where he facilitates engagement between Stakeholders in Government, Academia and Industry to take collective action towards creating inclusive and sustainable prosperity.

Olayinka Olafare

Upskill Program Manager

Olayinka is passionate about bridging the digital divides for learners. His research and teaching skills has helped many students gain confidence in their ability to Upskill and find a rewarding career.

Given his extensive experience as an ICT instructor in various schools, Olayinka will be managing the development of in-demand industry focused trining and certification programs and facilitating the learning experience of students who enroll in EhizuaHub Upskill Program. Working together with our seasoned instructors, together they are poised to deliver real-world tailored in-demand course curriculum to deliver the best learning experience onsite, interactive live and recorded online sessions.

Olayinka is a first-class graduate of the University of East London, where he studied Business Information Systems. To gain mastery in the IT space he proceeded to study at the prestigious University of Nottingham where he bagged a master’s degree in Management of Information Technology. After completing a master’s degree, Olayinka proceeded to Hyderabad, India, India’s ICT epicenter, where he enrolled for a course in SAP (SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Business Objects), after which he worked in India as SAP consultant for a year. He later proceeded to take on a job role as Information Technology Implementation Manager with Imo State University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria.

Olayinka is a seasoned ICT professional, with over 7 years’ experience working in the Information Technology space, as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and a Systems Analyst. He brings this wealth of experience and exposure gained from various countries and organizations he has worked with to support Ehizua hub skills-base in-demand industry training program.
