About Us

Ehizua is a social enterprise providing equal access to affordable and quality education as well as fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by bridging Financial and Digital Divides to ensure equal access to information and knowledge. We provide equal access through the establishment of Education and Creative Technology Hub, Education Financing, and creating access to jobs in Australia, Asia, and Africa. We facilitate Universities admissions and Scholarship, online program delivery, and empower participants through our Skills-based training, Job Assist program, Corporate accelerator program and Corporate venture capital (CVC).

We partner with the world’s leading institutions to help bridge the gap in online program delivery in Nigeria.

We provide offline support services for online learning; training aid support, tutoring services, facilitate face to face hands-on projects support, create access to tailored internship, workplace learning for selected courses and creative space for ideation, pre-incubation to incubation.

Nicholas Atalor

Executive Board Chair

Nicholas has extensive experience as a senior management executive within Financial services sector in Nigeria and South Africa. His experience in Treasury Management, Risk Management and Compliance in the banking sector has made him very resourceful executive for advisory services.
Nicholas provide strategic leadership advisory services to the CEO of Ehizua Hub in venture investment, risk management and compliance. Nicholas will help Ehizua Hub in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and optimising growth channels to drive revenues growth .
Nicholas gained most of his professional experience with Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc (Subsidiary of Standard Bank South Africa) as Head, Exchange Control and Compliance, Head, Global Market Operations, Manager, Fixed Income and Money Market Desk- Global Market Operations, Team Leader, Fixed Income and Money Market Desk – Global Market Operations, Team Leader, and Foreign Exchange Desk – Global Market Operations.
Nicholas hold an MBA from Manchester Business School and B.Sc. Chemistry from University of Lagos.

Matthias Ehizua

Founder/CEO

Matthias shared in the believe that access to affordable quality education and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship are best way to achieve inclusive and equal education with enhanced graduate outcomes in Africa and Asia. This believes drives the founding values of Ehizua.

Matthias oversees the strategic direction of Ehizua and provides holistic and collaborative approach to education financing, education marketing and as well as fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Matthias have over 12 years combined experience in financial and educational services in Australia, Asia, and Africa, mainly, in Education financing, Education Marketing, Career Development, and Business Development. Matthias gained most of his professional experience from working with Australian for UNHCR and Christian Super. Matthias has firsthand experience in starting and running an education agency and have demonstrated experience in providing training, business development and marketing for Universities and Colleges in Australia, Canada, Vietnam, Nigeria, Botswana and Mauritius. Matthias coordinate in-country marketing activities in Australia, Philippines, South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana.

Matthias work with Allianz, Medibank and BUPA as a vendor in providing access to affordable oversea student health insurance.

Matthias graduated with a Master of Taxation in Taxation and Financial Planning Specialization from The University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from Charles Darwin University. Matthias completed a course in Disruptive Strategy with Harvard Business School and is well versed in innovation theories and practices.

Martha Hendra

Education Partnership Director

Martha Hendra brings 30 years of teaching, quality assurance and managing program delivery within the international student education sector to Ehizua.

Her passion and commitment to English language education is coupled with being multi-lingual and recently learning Igbo and Yoruba languages.

Martha gained most of professional experience from working with Institute of Languages [UNSW], USQ Sydney Education Centre, JANCO Educational Services, and Bridge Business College.

In her role as an Academic Manager, Martha has had extensive experience in curriculum design and course development within the areas of Business English, English for Specific Purposes and English for Academic Purposes. In addition, she has a wide knowledge of quality assurance procedures and compliance within the tertiary education sector.

Martha supports our mission to facilitate access to quality education globally and manages our education partnership and the challenges associated with online course delivery quality assurance and course design that improve graduate outcomes with access to jobs on graduation. Ensuring QA and Designing courses that meet modern workplace requirements for graduates in terms of technology, oral presentation and writing a report becomes a major success factor for enhanced graduate outcomes. A balance of having well developed language skills, technical know-how and training is also fundamental to future success in any field of employment.

Obafemi Okubanjo

Chief Operating Officer

Obafemi is an experienced marketing, and business development professional with a combined 14 years working experience within financial services and international education marketing with skills in strategy development, brand development & management, and integrated marketing solutions.

Obafemi will contribute to Ehizua Hub overall business strategies where he will be overseeing business and partnership development, marketing and students recruitment operations

Obafemi gained must of his professional experience from working with Nobel International Business School as Country Manager – Nigeria, UNICAF, Growth Academy Limited, Zeephire Limited and PG Consulting as the Business Development and Marketing Heads where he was involved in institutional and retail sales of International education (online and blended learning), executive education and soft skills trainings in the last eight years. He has also had stints with Crusader Sterling Pensions, Standard Chartered Bank and Zenith Bank Plc as a marketing professional. He was also involved in the marketing of 2010 FIFA World cup project in Nigeria as well as 2010/2011 English Premier League and Champions League and also the Nigerian Idol project while working with Optimal Media Group.

Obafemi is a graduate of Business Administration and Management and his passionate about education and outcomes for graduate, this has influenced his commitment to Ehizua Hub in driving access to quality education and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Thohir Omoloye

Chief Technology Officer

Tohir is a seasoned Lead software engineer and enterprise solutions architect. An expert in business process automation and cloud architecture.

As Chief Technology Officer with Ehizua Hub Tohir is leading solutions in bridging the digital divides in online program delivery and graduate outcomes, providing technical leadership and insight to entrepreneurship and innovation, enhancing our offerings and start Up’s venture.

Tohir has over 10 years of experience developing and supporting automated systems for startups across various sectors in the US, Australia, Ireland and Nigeria.

Tohir graduated from Griffith College Dublin where he badged BSc (Honours) in Computing Science with First Class in 2019. An alumni of Harvard Business School Online where he participated in Entrepreneurship Essentials April 2020 cohort.

Akorede Oluwabusola

Job Services Manager

Busola is a certified Human Resources Professional with 5 years HR Generalist and Business Partnering experience across the Banking, NGOs, IT, and Education sectors. Her areas of expertise includes Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Strategic planning, Employee relations and General HR Operations.

Busola extensive experience in hiring, talent management and employer engagement will contribute to Ehizua Hub Job assist services for facilitating internship and employment for Ehizua Hub partnered University students and graduates.

As a value-driven HR professional, Busola has a passion for business development and high-performance work systems that elicit business profitability.

Busola gained most of her professional experience from working with Vigilant Heart Charitable Society and Lead-Forte Gate Schools.

Adenekan Adewole

Hub Manager

Adenekan brings 15 years of ICT teaching and facility management experience to Ehizua Hub. Adenekan will contribute to Ehizua Hub operations and facility management, maintaining our solar powered computer labs, virtual learning studio, multimedia production studio and providing a seamless hub experience for students and instructors.

He train students in the use of Python, CSS and HTML, VEX IQ Robotics Programming, Coreldraw, Photoshop, 2D Animations, WordPress, System Engineering, and Networking.

Adenekan has a B.Sc(Edu.) in Computer science and is a Microsoft Office Specialist, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). He has been trained by Cambridge Assessment as a preparatory trainer for
Cambridge IGCSE Information and Communication Technology (0417), Cambridge O Level Computer Science and Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science (048),. He has also gone through various online certification such as Certification on Transforming Leadership (Udemy), Data Science toolbox (Coursera) and many more.

Adenekan gained most of his professional experience from working with A&T Schools, Newhall International School Lekki, Lead- Forte Gate College, Lekki as Head of ICT and ICT Instructor.

Victory Ikhile

Enterprise Solutions Manager

Victory is an experienced project development and social enterprise engineering professional in Nigeria, and contribute in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among students and participants of Ehizua Hub while engineering Ehizua Hub Corporate Accelerator Program and Corporate Venture Capital (CVC).

Victory gained most of his professional experience from working as project coordinator with OAA Study for deployment of OAA Study CRM and Online Courses in Australia and with Seamfix Nig ltd for the rollout of biometric system project in Rivers State and supervised the transition of Nigerian Police employees paper records to electronic records.

Victory holds a BSc in Accounting.

Olayinka Olafare

Upskill Program Manager

Olayinka is passionate about bridging the digital divides for learners. His research and teaching skills has helped many students gain confidence in their ability to Upskill and find a rewarding career.

Given his extensive experience as an ICT instructor in various schools, Olayinka will be managing the development of in-demand industry focused trining and certification programs and facilitating the learning experience of students who enroll in EhizuaHub Upskill Program. Working together with our seasoned instructors, together they are poised to deliver real-world tailored in-demand course curriculum to deliver the best learning experience onsite, interactive live and recorded online sessions.

Olayinka is a first-class graduate of the University of East London, where he studied Business Information Systems. To gain mastery in the IT space he proceeded to study at the prestigious University of Nottingham where he bagged a master’s degree in Management of Information Technology. After completing a master’s degree, Olayinka proceeded to Hyderabad, India, India’s ICT epicenter, where he enrolled for a course in SAP (SAP Business Intelligence and SAP Business Objects), after which he worked in India as SAP consultant for a year. He later proceeded to take on a job role as Information Technology Implementation Manager with Imo State University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria.

Olayinka is a seasoned ICT professional, with over 7 years’ experience working in the Information Technology space, as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and a Systems Analyst. He brings this wealth of experience and exposure gained from various countries and organizations he has worked with to support Ehizua hub skills-base in-demand industry training program.
